Introduction

This Brocade (Formerly) 40G-QSFP-PLR4 compatible QSFP+ optical transceiver delivers 40GBase-PLR4 throughput over single-mode fiber up to 10km, operating at a 1310nm wavelength and transmitting via an MPO connector. This optical transceiver is guaranteed to be fully compatible with the equivalent Brocade (Formerly) optical transceiver. This easy-to-install, hot-swappable optical transceiver has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure proper initialization and equivalent performance. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality is also integrated to allow access to real-time operating parameters. This optical transceiver is compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), and ProLabs optical transceivers are RoHS-compliant and lead-free.
