Introduction
This HP AW584A compatible SFP+ optical transceiver module delivers 8GBase-LW Fibre Channel throughput, with transmission distances up to 10km over single-mode fiber (SMF) at a 1310nm wavelength. The module uses an LC connector and is guaranteed 100% compatible with equivalent HP optical transceivers. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable optical transceiver has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and applications to ensure consistent initialization and performance. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality is also present, allowing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs optical transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
