TFBS4650 is an infrared transceiver supporting IrDA-compliant data rates up to 115 kbit/s. Connection distance is up to 1 meter. The transceiver includes a PIN photodiode, an infrared emitter, and a low-power control IC. These components are not qualified to automotive specifications.
