Introduction
The HMC338 is a general-purpose sub-harmonic pumped (×2) MMIC mixer with integrated LO amplifier, operating as an up- or down-converter over the 26 to 33 GHz frequency range. Fabricated in GaAs PHEMT technology, it achieves a compact monolithic chip area of 1.28 mm². Excellent 2LO-to-RF isolation eliminates the need for additional filtering. The LO amplifier features a single-bias (+3V to +4V) two-stage design requiring only -5 dBm nominal drive power.
