Introduction

Broadcom HSMx-C130 chip LEDs are surface mount LEDs in an industry-standard 1.6mm × 0.8mm package. They utilize high-efficiency, high-brightness Aluminum Indium Gallium Phosphide (AlInGaP) material for superior performance. Their compact form factor and low profile provide greater flexibility for PCB or custom designs, and the LEDs can be mounted in close proximity, offering a cost-effective solution. These LEDs feature a wide viewing angle combined with high performance and small package size, making them ideal for applications requiring uniform light distribution, high brightness, and minimal board space. The device is well-suited for applications in industrial equipment, consumer electronics, gaming, home appliances, and the white and brown goods markets. These chip LEDs employ AlInGaP material technology. AlInGaP offers high luminous efficiency, capable of producing high light output across a wide range of drive currents. Four colors are available: amber, red, green, and orange. All products (except red) are binned by luminous intensity and color. They are packaged in 8mm conductive tape on 7-inch diameter reels, with 4,000 units per reel, suitable for automated placement.
