Introduction

The π1xxxxx series digital isolators include hundreds of models. Based on the proprietary iDivider technology and mature standard CMOS process, these devices deliver outstanding performance characteristics and reliability, with overall performance superior to optocouplers and digital isolators based on other principles. The intelligent voltage divider technology (iDivider technology) utilizes the capacitive voltage dividing principle to achieve precise transmission of voltage signals across the isolation barrier without the need for modulation and demodulation. Each transmission channel in this series is independent, supporting flexible multi-directional configurations, with isolation voltage ratings from 1.5kV rms to 5.0kV rms and signal transmission from DC to 600Mbps. The devices support operating voltages from 3.0V to 5.5V and signal level translation from 3.0V to 5.5V. When the input power supply is off or no input signal is present while the output power supply remains active, the isolator output defaults to a defined logic level.
