Introduction

Broadcom 3W 3535 surface-mount UV LEDs are high-efficacy LEDs designed to operate at high drive currents with effective thermal dissipation, delivering enhanced reliability. The low-profile package design is suitable for applications requiring exceptional durability and high efficiency. In addition to a ceramic-based package construction, a quartz lens on top of the package provides the long service life required by the corresponding end applications. The 3W 3535 surface-mount UV LED is compatible with reflow soldering processes. For ease of pick-and-place assembly, the LEDs are supplied in tape-and-reel packaging. Each reel is shipped in a single flux bin and single color bin to ensure a high degree of consistency.
