The ALTA Wireless Dry Contact Sensor detects when contact exists between two wired endpoints. It can be easily integrated into existing switches or contact pads. When the sensor detects contact between the two endpoints, it immediately activates its RF radio and transmits data to the wireless gateway and iMonnit online sensor monitoring and notification system, enabling users to receive instant SMS or email alerts. The sensor can be configured to detect both closed and open-loop circuits, triggering alerts when contact is established or broken.
