Introduction
The IXYS RF switch-mode MOSFET series is designed for applications requiring fast switching, including laser drivers, induction heating, switch-mode power supplies, and other nonlinear industrial applications. This product family is based on HiPerRF MOSFET technology utilizing a patented bimetallic approach. The combination of high breakdown voltage ratings with low capacitance significantly improves impedance and reduces driver design complexity. In addition, a new ultra-low capacitance ZMOS process is now available. This new process will complement rather than replace the existing DE series product portfolio.
