Introduction

Zilog's Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors are designed to deliver high performance and excellent EMI immunity for the most demanding motion detection applications. The ZFG223611 PIR sensor, used in conjunction with a PIR lens, consists of two sensing elements located behind a spectral filter window tuned to the 8–13μm wavelength range, which helps block unwanted infrared energy sources. The element spacing and geometry improve immunity to white light and temperature variations.
