Introduction

SL170x is a low-power Hall-effect switch sensor designed for space-constrained and battery-sensitive systems. The device offers multiple magnetic field thresholds, switching frequencies, and package options to suit various applications. When the applied south-pole or north-pole magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point Bop, the output switches low and remains low. The output returns high only when the south-pole or north-pole magnetic flux density falls below the release point Brp. An integrated temperature compensation circuit and clock logic circuit ensure stable operate points and switching frequency. The device delivers omnipolar magnetic response at ultra-low current consumption. The SL170x operates from a supply voltage of 1.8V to 5.5V and is available in standard SOT-23-3L, TO-92S, and HFBP1010-4L packages.
