Simply connect a standard 3.5mm stereo plug to your Raspberry Pi Model B or B+, Wave shield, or other devices. They even feature a volume control knob for precise adjustment. For power, just plug the USB connector into any device capable of providing USB power. At moderate volume levels (which are already quite loud), current consumption is 200-400mA. At maximum volume, peak current consumption can reach 1A. If no computer is available, our 5V 1A wall adapter is a great option; if you'd like to power it from a battery pack without cutting any cables, a USB A to 2.1mm adapter will do the job.
