Introduction

The EClamp2454P is an integrated TVS diode (L-C) low-pass filter array designed to suppress unwanted EMI/RFI signals and provide ESD protection in portable electronic devices. This advanced device employs solid-state silicon avalanche technology, delivering superior clamping performance and DC electrical characteristics. It is optimized to protect color LCD and camera lines in mobile phones and other portable electronic products. The device consists of four identical circuits, each comprising a TVS diode for ESD protection and a 5th-order L-C network for EMI/RFI filtering. The typical inductance is 28nH and capacitance is 12pF, achieving a minimum attenuation of 40dB at 800MHz. The TVS diode effectively suppresses ESD voltages exceeding ±15kV (air discharge) and ±8kV (contact discharge), compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4. The EClamp2454P is housed in a RoHS/WEEE-compliant 8-pin SLP2116P8 package measuring 2.1×1.6×0.58mm. The pin pitch is 0.5mm with lead-free nickel-palladium plating. Its compact package makes it ideal for portable electronics such as mobile phones, digital cameras, and PDAs.
