Introduction
The DS8401 series is a family of low-dropout linear voltage regulators featuring wide input voltage range, low dropout voltage, low power consumption, and compact packaging. With a quiescent current of only 2µA, they are ideal for powering battery-operated always-on systems that require extremely low idle-state power consumption to extend battery life. Pulling the EN pin low activates shutdown mode, in which the typical shutdown current is only 100nA. This series of linear regulators maintains stability with ceramic output capacitors across a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 40V and throughout the full output load current range of 0mA to 200mA.
