Introduction

HT9059A is a high-performance positive voltage regulator designed for applications requiring ultra-low input voltage and very low dropout voltage at output currents up to 3A. The operating input voltage VIN can be as low as 1V, the control voltage VDD is 3V, and the programmable output voltage can be set as low as 0.8V. The device features ultra-low dropout characteristics, making it ideal for applications where the output voltage is very close to the input voltage. In addition, the HT9059A incorporates an enable pin to further reduce power consumption during shutdown. The regulator delivers excellent regulation performance across line, load, and temperature variations. The HT9059A also provides a power-good signal to indicate whether the output voltage VO has reached 90% of its rated value. The recommended junction temperature range is -40°C to 125°C, and the ambient temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
