Introduction

The DS8561 series is a family of low-dropout (LDO) regulators featuring a wide input voltage range of 1.2V to 5.5V, low dropout voltage, low power consumption, and compact packaging.

With an ultra-low quiescent current of 2µA, the DS8561 is particularly well-suited for battery-powered devices and long-term standby applications, helping to reduce system standby power consumption while effectively extending standby time and battery life. An optional version with an EN enable pin is available — pulling the EN pin low puts the device into shutdown mode, where quiescent current drops to as low as 100nA (typical). The DS8561 series supports ceramic output capacitors and operates stably across the full 1.2V to 5.5V input voltage range and the entire output load current range of 0mA to 300mA.
