Introduction

CM614X is a low dropout regulator designed for fast transient response. The device delivers 1.5A output current at a 280mV dropout voltage. Quiescent current is as low as 1.5mA in active mode and drops below 1μA in shutdown mode. With low output noise characteristics, CM614X is well suited for noise-sensitive RF power supply applications. The series offers fixed output voltage options of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V, as well as an adjustable output voltage version ranging from 1.21V to 20V. CM614X maintains stable operation with as little as a 10μF output capacitor. It integrates multiple circuit protection features including current limiting and thermal shutdown. The device is available in SOP8, SOT223-3, TSSOP16, and TO252-5 packages, with an operating temperature range of –40°C to 125°C.
