Introduction

The 6206 series is a high-precision, low-power, three-terminal positive voltage regulator fabricated using CMOS and laser trimming technology. This series delivers high output current with ultralow dropout voltage. It consists of a current limiting circuit, driver transistor, precision voltage reference, and error correction circuit, and is compatible with low-ESR ceramic capacitors. The foldback current limiting circuit provides short-circuit protection and limits output pin current. The output voltage is set via internal laser trimming and can be selected from 1.2V to 5.0V in 0.1V increments. The series is available in SOT-23, SOT23-3, and SOT-89 packages.
