Introduction

XTPS79318 is an ultra-low noise, ultra-low quiescent current LDO regulator operating from a 2.2V to 5.5V supply, capable of delivering up to 200mA output current with a stable 1.8V output voltage. Utilizing innovative design techniques, its quiescent current as low as 15μA at no load makes it well suited for battery-powered portable devices. The XTPS79318 delivers excellent noise rejection without requiring an additional noise bypass capacitor, while maintaining outstanding PSRR and line/load transient response performance. The combination of ultra-low noise and extremely low quiescent current enables the XTPS79318 to maximize battery life in portable devices. For high-performance applications where board space is limited, the XTPS79318 can be used with 1μF ceramic input and output capacitors. Available in a 5-pin SOT-23 package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
