Introduction

HX1304G is a synchronous buck regulator designed for high-voltage input power supplies. It operates over an input voltage range of 8V to 30V, delivering 2.1A continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation. The switching frequency is programmable from 130kHz to 500kHz, and the synchronous architecture enables high-efficiency designs. Current-mode operation provides fast transient response and simplifies loop compensation. The HX1304G requires a minimal number of standard external components. Additional features include programmable current limiting and thermal shutdown. The HX1304G converter is available in an industry-standard SOP-8L package.
