Introduction

MX431/MX431T is a three-terminal adjustable voltage reference that maintains stable output voltage over the operating temperature range. This device features fast turn-on, low temperature coefficient, and low output impedance. These characteristics make the MX431/MX431T an ideal replacement for Zener diodes, suitable for use in switching power supplies, chargers, and other adjustable voltage regulators.

The output voltage of the MX431/MX431T can be set to any value between REF (2.5V) and the maximum CATHODE terminal voltage (36V) by means of external resistors.

The MX431/MX431T precision voltage reference is available in two output accuracy grades: 0.5% and 1%.

The device is offered in a compact package: SOT-23.

Note that the MX431 and MX431T have different pin configurations; attention must be paid when designing applications.
