Introduction

MP5018/MP5019 is a single-chip solution IC designed specifically for power banks, highly integrating a switching charge management module, LED battery level display module, and synchronous boost discharge management module into a single power bank management chip. The MP5018/MP5019 supports a maximum charging current of 2A and a maximum synchronous boost output current of 2.4A. In addition, the MP5018/MP5019 integrates discharge path management, battery level display, flashlight, and other functions, greatly simplifying the peripheral circuit design and reducing component count. It provides the simplest and most cost-effective solution for power bank applications using high-capacity lithium batteries (Li-ion or LiPo). The MP5018/MP5019 is available in an ESOP8 package.
