Introduction

PE3301 is a dedicated IC for e-cigarette systems, integrating linear charging, 3.5A load switch discharge (subject to thermal dissipation conditions), and LED indication functions, with a standby current as low as 5uA. The charge termination voltage is 4.2V with a charging current of 250mA, supporting both conventional 5V adapters and USB ports for battery charging. Integrated temperature protection and input undervoltage protection ensure safe and reliable charging. The integrated 3.5A discharge load switch features overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, timeout protection, and reverse current blocking, enhancing device reliability. The microphone detection includes an auto-calibration function to prevent false triggering, with four configurable detection accuracy levels. A single external LED provides rich indication of charging, discharging, and operating states, with support for gradual brightness ramp-up and ramp-down effects during puffing.
