Introduction
LY5903 is an overvoltage and overcurrent protection IC with an input voltage tolerance up to 30V. The overvoltage protection threshold is fixed at 6.1V, while the overcurrent protection threshold is externally adjustable. Upon detection of an overvoltage or overcurrent condition, the IC immediately cuts off the internal switching transistor to prevent damage to downstream circuitry. The IC integrates an enable control function: the enable pin CE is active low, and when driven high, it disables the VOUT output switch.
