Introduction

The LY5905 is an overvoltage and overcurrent protection IC. It features overvoltage protection that rapidly shuts down the output when VCC encounters a hazardous surge voltage, and can withstand input voltages up to 30V, protecting downstream devices from surge damage. In addition, the IC integrates adjustable overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, and other fault protection functions. The LY5905 is available in a compact SOT23-6 package.
