Introduction

LY3205E is a fully integrated motor drive control IC that integrates a lithium battery charge management module, motor drive module, motor freewheeling diode, push-button gear control, and protection module, with a standby current of only 5uA. The IC features a charging current of 0.6A; the red LED lights up during charging and turns off when fully charged, while the green LED lights up during discharge. The maximum output current is 1.3A, and an external PMOS transistor can be added to support applications requiring more than 1.3A. The IC integrates an enable control pin, active high, which can be driven by an external MCU input signal or controlled via a toggle switch.
