Introduction

MT7282 is a white LED constant-current driver IC with a 2.5V~40V wide input range, configurable as buck, boost, or buck-boost topology. It delivers up to 10W driving capability at AC12V/DC12V input voltage. Operating at a fixed frequency in current mode to regulate LED current, the device offers fast transient response, stable loop performance, and straightforward design. High-side current sensing technology enables average LED operating current to be set via an external resistor. The 200mV low reference voltage effectively reduces power dissipation and improves efficiency. The 450kHz fixed operating frequency minimizes external inductance, input and output capacitance. Both PWM dimming and analog dimming are supported through a single control pin. Integrated protection features include OVP, OCP, and OTP to ensure safe and reliable system operation.
