Introduction

MT7830A is a high power factor, non-isolated LED driver IC. By adopting a floating ground, high-side sensing, buck switching power supply architecture, it achieves full-cycle detection with excellent line regulation and load regulation. MT7830A operates in quasi-resonant mode, simultaneously improving both efficiency and EMI performance. MT7830A integrates multiple protection features, including OVP, OCP, and OTP, enhancing reliability, with all protections featuring auto-recovery functionality. Leveraging Mysemi's proprietary technology, the drive capability of MT7830A is independent of the chip supply voltage, which can significantly improve the system's EMI immunity.
