Introduction

FM6569 is a common-cathode LED full-color display driver IC designed for high-refresh-rate applications. The built-in 16-bit shift register converts serial input data into grayscale pixel values for each output channel. The 16 constant-current output channels deliver consistent, stable output current unaffected by the load voltage at the output terminals or PCB variations, providing excellent noise immunity. Output current levels can be adjusted via external resistors of different values, and channel current gain can be fine-tuned through software to control LED display brightness. Utilizing Fumao's proprietary EPWM display technology, the device delivers superior image rendering quality.

Supports up to 64-scan LED scanning displays. Through technical innovations, it effectively resolves issues such as low-gray banding, color deviation, mura, first-row dimming, high-contrast coupling, and cross-panel color shift. Integrated open-circuit detection helps eliminate cross-shaped artifacts caused by defective LEDs. Furthermore, the built-in blanking/clamp circuit combined with configurable bits significantly enhances blanking/clamping capability, effectively eliminating top/bottom ghosting and text ghosting, while greatly improving display artifacts such as cross-panel coupling, high-contrast coupling, and mid-contrast coupling. Additional features include a black-screen power-saving mode to reduce power consumption during black-screen periods, internal GCLK signal generation to optimize system performance, and excellent dynamic adaptation and channel adaptation for higher accuracy.
