Introduction

RC620I is a dedicated IC designed for flash controllers. With only a single 1μF external capacitor, a complete flash controller circuit can be constructed, significantly reducing solution cost, improving production efficiency, lowering product failure rate, and enhancing product quality.

The IC is compatible with existing series-connected circuit designs — simply connect it in series on the turn signal power line to achieve flash control functionality, making integration straightforward and reducing system cost. The IC features a built-in fixed-frequency oscillator with comprehensive temperature compensation and voltage compensation, ensuring the system maintains an accurate flashing frequency (75Hz) across varying application environments for uniform and stable operation. This enables a substantial improvement in overall system performance compared to conventional discrete component solutions.

The IC incorporates multiple built-in protection mechanisms to prevent damage to the flash controller and related power lines on e-bikes under certain abnormal operating conditions, with automatic protection release once normal operation resumes. This enhances the inherent reliability of the flash controller while reducing the probability of whole-vehicle returns for repair.
