Introduction

LY3167 is a single-chip LED driver controller integrating a lithium battery charge management module, LED function control module, and protection module, with a shutdown standby current of only 3μA. LY3167 supports two lighting function cycle modes, configurable via the MODE pin — floating or grounded. When MODE is floating, the button cycle sequence is 100%-25%-Strobe-OFF; when MODE is grounded, the sequence is 100%-50%-25%-OFF. LY3167 features a delayed current reduction function: current reduction begins 2 minutes after power-on. LY3167 reduces output current at a rate of 9% per minute, stabilizing at 35%; LY3167A reduces output current at a rate of 7% per minute, stabilizing at 50%.
