Introduction

Hi7331 is a buck dimming LED constant-current driver featuring a simple peripheral circuit, wide dimming ratio, and flicker-free operation, suitable for LED constant-current lighting applications with input voltages ranging from 6.5V to 75V. Utilizing a proprietary algorithm, this IC achieves high-precision constant-current regulation with output current accuracy ≤±3% and load regulation <±0.5%, easily meeting the demands of wide input/output voltage applications while enabling flicker-free dimming throughout the full range. Its PWM dimming supports high-brightness applications with dimming frequencies above 100Hz and a resolution exceeding 100:1. The IC supports PWM-to-analog dimming conversion, low standby power mode, and features built-in over-temperature current foldback and overcurrent protection. The output current is set by sensing the current-sense resistor between the ISENSEN and ISENSEP pins, with support for buck common-anode topology.
