Introduction

YD7120 is a high-voltage, high-speed MOSFET gate driver designed for Class D audio power amplifier applications with ultra-high output power. It adopts a flexible open-loop topology for PWM modulation. The device features bidirectional overcurrent detection and protection, capable of sensing both positive and negative overcurrent conditions in the load without any external sense resistors, while providing appropriate overcurrent protection and programmable reset timing. The device integrates a dead-time control module that precisely sets the dead time for MOSFET gate switching, achieving ultra-low THD and reduced audio output background noise.
