Introduction

HT1621B is a peripheral device for expanding microcontroller I/O ports. It features a 32×4 display matrix, providing a 128-point memory-mapped, multi-function LCD driver circuit. The device's software features make it well-suited for LCD applications, including LCD modules and display subsystems. The interface to the host controller requires only 3 or 4 ports. A power-down command is available to reduce power consumption.
