Introduction

The AMG8606 is a system-on-chip BMS designed for 9S to 17S high-performance 48V/60V lithium battery packs, supporting Li-ion, sodium-ion, and LiFePO₄ batteries. Based on the innovative MagicBMS all-in-one system architecture, it provides an integrated solution for lithium battery pack BMS main boards with high reliability, high accuracy, high voltage tolerance, low power consumption, and a small PCB footprint. It integrates high-precision signal acquisition and conversion, a full-featured protection hardware state machine, and high-voltage-tolerant low-power power conversion — enabling independent monitoring and protection of lithium battery packs and external communication functions without requiring an external MCU or power conversion IC. The integrated MAG-ICGAUGE algorithm enables software protection and fuel gauge calculation. Its full-featured protection hardware state machine and high-precision data acquisition unit help reduce system BOM cost.
