Introduction

GR3002AS is a Bluetooth charging dock SoC integrating lithium battery charge management, a synchronous boost converter, battery gauge, and protection functions. Its highly integrated design significantly reduces external component count, helping to minimize solution size and lower BOM cost. The chip's own standby current is only 7uA. The charging current is 0.3A, the synchronous boost converter supports 0.8A output current, and it supports both automatic and push-button power on/off functions, with an automatic shutdown current threshold of 4mA. The chip features built-in power path management, supporting simultaneous charge and discharge operation, with heavy-load and short-circuit protection in this mode — eliminating the need for an external diode while preventing damage to it under heavy-load or short-circuit conditions.
