Introduction

The HSUL8712 is a single-cell lithium battery protection IC with integrated MOSFETs. It features ultra-low power consumption and very low on-resistance integrated MOSFETs. The IC provides comprehensive protection functions including overcharge, charge overcurrent, overdischarge, discharge overcurrent, overtemperature, and short circuit protection, ensuring safe and efficient cell operation.

The HSUL8712 adopts an ultra-compact DFN1X1-4L package with a profile height of 0.37mm. Only one resistor and one capacitor are required as external components, making the application extremely simple, reliable, and safe.
