Introduction

DW01 is a protection IC dedicated to single-cell lithium-ion/polymer rechargeable batteries. It integrates high-precision voltage detection, current detection, and delay detection circuits. By monitoring the cell voltage and charge/discharge current, it controls external charge-control and discharge-control MOSFETs to provide overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, discharge overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, and charge overcurrent protection, thereby safeguarding both the lithium battery and connected external devices.
