1088 is a driver IC specifically designed for portable lithium battery small fans, integrating a power path management function that supports simultaneous charging and discharging. It features multiple LED charging status indicators, supports switching among three speed levels via a push button, and defaults to three-speed output mode. The IC incorporates a linear charging scheme with a fixed charging current of 500mA, using a three-stage charging process: trickle charging, constant current charging, and constant voltage charging. The IC integrates built-in button debounce and multiple protection features, including short-circuit protection, over-temperature protection, battery reverse polarity protection, and battery under-voltage protection. High-performance ESD protection circuits are implemented on the IC's ports, delivering exceptional reliability and stability. The 1088 features a simple application circuit, requiring minimal external components to implement a complete portable small fan solution.
