Introduction

FM7318A is a current-mode PWM control IC with an integrated high-voltage power MOSFET, designed for full-voltage 18W offline flyback switching power supplies, offering high performance, low standby power consumption, and low cost.

To ensure normal operation, a comprehensive set of recoverable protection features has been implemented for various fault conditions, including soft-start, VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), overload protection (OLP), and totem-pole output drive high clamping. Special measures are incorporated to address audio noise and FM interference. The built-in frequency jitter and totem-pole gate soft-drive technology enable excellent EMI performance with ease.

FM7318A is a low-power offline flyback switching power converter specifically designed for 18W fast-charging applications.
