Introduction

The FM9918 series is a secondary-side synchronous rectification IC designed for flyback converters. By driving an internal MOSFET, it significantly improves efficiency compared to conventional diode rectifiers. The internal MOSFET turns on when its Vds is detected below -300mV, and turns off once Vds rises above -10mV. It supports multiple operating modes including DCM, CrCM, CCM, and QR, housed in a SOP-8 package. The FM9918 series is a high-performance secondary-side synchronous rectification IC suited for isolated synchronous rectification applications in flyback systems, supporting DCM, CCM, CrCM, and QR operating modes.
