Introduction

FM25XX is a low-power Primary-Side Regulation (PSR) switching power supply IC with an integrated high-power MOSFET, designed for isolated high-efficiency low-power portable device charger applications. It employs a unique PSR control technique with CC/CV functionality, along with a proprietary PFM+PWM scheme to reduce the IC's own power consumption under light load for high-efficiency operation. Output cable drop compensation is incorporated to ensure sufficient output power at high current. Additional features include over-temperature protection, VCC under-voltage protection, VCC over-voltage protection, and output short-circuit protection. The compact DIP/SOP package facilitates system design and PCB layout.
