Introduction

The LM393 consists of two independent, precision voltage comparators with an input offset voltage of no more than 2.0mV. It operates from either a single or dual power supply, and its supply current is independent of the supply voltage level. A unique feature of these comparators is that the input common-mode voltage range extends down to ground level, even when operating from a single supply. Primarily used in consumer and industrial electronics. Available in DIP8 package.
