Introduction

CMC693PR144-M is a dedicated motion control chip supporting 4-axis 3-linked operation. The chip supports 4-axis pulse + direction signal output for controlling stepper motors, servo motors, and other common motor types. Motion control commands are issued and status data is read via UART or Ethernet using a function interface. The chip supports single-axis motion, multi-axis interpolation, S-curve acceleration/deceleration, trapezoidal acceleration/deceleration, handwheel control, encoder readback, and more — making it widely applicable in dedicated machinery, automated assembly line equipment, and various other applications.

As a dedicated motion control chip, CMC693PR144-M eliminates the need for users to develop motion control algorithms. Motion control is executed in ASIC mode, ensuring stable performance and high efficiency. Combined with a rich set of general-purpose interfaces, it serves as an excellent complement to standard host controller devices.
