Introduction

SR9900A(I) is a highly integrated, low-power, single-chip USB 2.0 to 10/100M Ethernet controller. It adds low-cost, compact, plug-and-play Fast Ethernet functionality to a wide range of applications, suitable for desktop computers, laptops, ultra-portable computers, tablets, cradles/port replicators/docking stations, gaming consoles, smart home devices, and any embedded system with a USB interface. SR9900A(I) integrates a USB 2.0 transceiver, an IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3az-2010 compliant 10/100M Ethernet module, and an efficient memory control module. SR9900A(I) is fully compatible with Microsoft NDIS5 and NDIS6 (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP) Checksum features, and supports IEEE 802 IP Layer 2 priority encoding and IEEE 802.1Q Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN).
