Introduction

CD4066 is a quad bilateral analog switch designed for analog or digital signal transmission or multiplexing. It features low on-resistance that remains relatively constant across the full signal input range. The device comprises four independent bilateral switches, each with a dedicated control pin. The control signal simultaneously biases the P and N devices in each switch on or off. The well of the N-channel device in each switch is connected to the input (when the switch is on) or VSS (when the switch is off). This configuration eliminates threshold voltage variation of the switch transistors with changing input signals, resulting in low on-resistance throughout the entire operating signal range. CD4066 is available in SOP14 and DIP14 packages.
