Introduction

XADC082S021 is a low-power, 2-channel 8-bit ADC with a high-speed serial interface. Unlike conventional devices that specify performance at only a single sample rate, the XADC082S021 is fully specified over a sample rate range of 50 ksps to 200 ksps. The converter is based on a successive approximation register architecture with an internal track-and-hold circuit. The XADC082S021 features two single-ended analog inputs, IN1 and IN2. The analog input range for each channel is 0 to VA. The XADC082S021 is available in an 8-pin MSOP package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The XADC082S021 is a pin-compatible replacement for the ADC082S021.
