Introduction

This document describes how to add wireless functionality via an M.2 module to the iMX Development Kit V2, and introduces the Linux commands used to control the wireless features. This document applies only to Linux v5.4 and later versions. All required interfaces, tools, and kernel configurations are enabled in the pre-built images. For custom builds, please refer to the relevant documentation. Additional documents you may need include the Getting Started Guide for your iMX Development Kit, the datasheet for your specific COM board, the COM carrier board datasheet, and the datasheet for your specific M.2 module.
