Introduction

MP113 is an inkjet printhead driver designed specifically for Fujifilm Dimatix SG-series printheads, and is also compatible with Q-series printheads and other compatible printheads from third-party manufacturers. The module consists of two sections: analog and digital. The analog section comprises two independent power amplifiers, each capable of generating the firing pulses required to drive up to 512 inkjet nozzles. The digital section converts 1-bit or 2-bit digital print data into a bitstream for the printhead output latches, as well as analog input signals with precise timing for the power op-amps. The analog section plugs into the digital section and is built on a thermally conductive yet electrically insulating substrate for heatsink mounting. The digital section features an edge card connector for interfacing with the printhead and digital print control.
