Introduction
MP204 is a high-output-current quad-channel amplifier designed to drive Ricoh GEN4 and GEN5 print heads. The device combines integrated circuits with discrete semiconductors and passive components, mounted on a thermally conductive insulated metal substrate, delivering extremely high power in a compact module form factor. The amplifier gain is fixed at 14V/V. Internal compensation provides slew rate control and ensures stability. The only required external components are the current-limiting resistor R_LIM, series isolation resistor R_S, and power supply bypass capacitors.
